Dear Mr. Chairman:
The NRC has sent to the Office of the Federal Regieter for publication the enclosed proposed amendment to the Commission's rules in 10 CFR Parts 25 and
- 95. The amendment, if adopted, would conform NRC regulations for the protection of classified information at licensee, certificate holder and other facilities to current national security policies as reflected in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual and Executive Orders 12958 and 12968.
The Commission is issuing the proposed rule for public comment.
