RESPONSE TO ORDER OF JULY 8, 1982 In accordance with the Licensing Board's Order of July 8, 1982, Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation (RG&E) responds as follows:

1. RG&E and the Staff have conferred regarding further proceedings.

2. A number of issuances remain to be completed. These are being identified to the Licensing Board with their antici-pated issuance dates by the Staff. Staff and RG&E agree that these issuances should be completed before further proceedings are undertaken. RG&E therefore suggests that discussion of matters concerning discovery, prehearing conferences, and hearings are at this time premature and should be postponed pending issuance of the documents being identified by Staff.
