Management Actions: l l
. During this report period we had a total of nineteen (19) positive Fitness-for-Duty- )
(FFD) tests. Nineteen (19) of those were pre-access and part of the pre-screening l process during Refuel Outage 5 (RFO-5). !
Fitness-for-Duty Initiatives:
. In our effort to support River Bend Station in a Customer Se'.vice environment, we elected to send all FFD specimens to our on-site laboratory at Grand Gr.lf Nuclear Station. This change allowed us to receive results from three (3) days down to less ,
than twenty-four (24) hours. :
Effectiveness Evaluation: 7
. In an effort to streamline our process, we are currently working initiat ives to do i business the same way at each of our four sites. To make that task a reality, we are working to streamline our procedures and our process as a collective unit.
. During the month of March we reduced our Random Testing from 100% to 50%. The big plus here is in monetary savings.
I
. Reference our 02/25/94 report, all items identified in the December FFD assessment ;
have been corrected.
Reportable incidents:
- None this period.
