Thank you for your assistance in hosting a Surry Plant visit on July 30, 2009, for several summer hires of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research. Ms. Carol Elmore from your staff was extremely helpful to us in organizing a very successful plant visit. We recognize and appreciate the added effort by your staff to support this activity.

We have found these plant tours to be very effective in helping prospective new engineers learn more about the nuclear technology. The summer hires provided very positive feedback that reflected an improved understanding and appreciation of the work done in a plant environment.
