ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF REPLY TO NOTICE OF VIOLATION, EA-17-059

Dear Mr. Boyle:

This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated July 25, 2017 [Agencywide Document and Access Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML17209A739], in response to our Investigation Report and Notice of Violation dated June 26, 2017 (ML17174B221). Thank you for informing us of the corrective actions documented in your letter. Additionally, from subsequent phone conversations we understand you took the additional action of meeting with all members of the Radiation Protection department and informing them of the issue and the expectations for compliance with Entergy policies and procedures and NRC regulations. We will review the implementation of your corrective actions during a future inspection to verify that full compliance has been achieved and maintained.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room and from the ADAMS, accessible from the NRC web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-material-rm/adams.html.
