Thesevillbeperformed usinqthesoftwareversionofMechanical DesignStandard(MDS)Number01(Inputa.).Thefollowing methodswillbeusedtocompliment thetechniques usedinthesoftwarepackage:a.)Theactivevalvestrokelengthisarequiredprograminputwhichallowstheprogramtocalculate adesignvalvestroketime.Theactivestrokelengthwillbecalculated basedonthefollowing expression:

c.)TheMaximumAllowable Thrustwillbeestablished asthethrustcorresponding totheminimumofthefollowing:
