On February 27, 1987 correspondence wa forwarded to you regarding the execution of the SF 189-A, "Classified Information Non-disclosure Agreement (Industrial /Comerical/Non-Government)" by NRC cleared individuals as a condition for access to classified information.
On February 27, 1987 correspondence wa forwarded to you regarding the execution of the SF 189-A, "Classified Information Non-disclosure Agreement (Industrial /Comerical/Non-Government)" by NRC cleared individuals as a condition for access to classified information.
The Information Security Oversight Office (1500) has aovised that a rider to the Continuing Resolution for Fiscal Year 1988 (Section 630 of Public Law 100-202) signed by the President on December 22, 1987 places limitations on the implementation and enforcement of the Agreement. Although 1500 is seeking an Opinion of the Attorney General on the impact of this legislation on the Agreement, until further notice use of the Agreement must cease. Any existing executed SF 189-A's which have already been obtained should be forwarded to the NRC Division of Security for retention.
