This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in.

-response to your requests dated February 9 and 10 and April 26. 1978.

This amendment modifies the Technical Specifications by (1) revising i

the limiting conditions for operation and surveillance requirements associated with.the Plant Service Water System to reflect the addition l

of an independent capability of_ providing cooling water to diesel j

generator 18. (2) revising the surveillance requirements for relief / -

j safety valves to reflect the replacement of three-stage topworks valves with the two stage topwork design which is identical to that to be used on Hatch Unit 2, and (3) revising the operability requirements for the l

Standby Gas Treatment System to reflect an extension of the W P-1 i

secondary containment by the addition of that space which comprises c

the refueling floor of HNP-2.
