Dear Sir or Madam:

In the letter identified as Reference 1, Vistra Operations Company LLC (Vistra OpCo) submitted a request for a temporary exemption from requirements in 10 CFR 73, Appendix B, Section VI, Nuclear Power Reactor Training and Qualification Plan for Personnel Performing Security Program Duties, subsection A.7, regarding the timeframe for conducting the annual force-on-force (FOF) exercises scheduled for the first quarter of calendar year (CY) 2021 at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP), as required by 10 CFR 73, Appendix B, Section VI, subsection C.3(l)(1). After initial review of the Reference 1 submittal, the NRC staff electronically transmitted a request to supplement the Reference 2 application with additional information to enable NRC staff to begin its detailed technical review. The enclosure with this letter provides Vistra OpCos response to the NRCs supplemental information request The enclosure with this letter is designated as security related information (SRI) and should be withheld in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.
