December 7, 2006 NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT LICENSEE MEETING THIS MEETING IS OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE Name of Licensee: AmerGen Energy Company, LLC Name of Facility: Clinton Power Station Docket No: 50-461 Date and Time of Meeting: Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. (CST)
Location of Meeting: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission - Region III 2443 Warrenville Road, Suite 210 Lisle, Illinois 60532 Purpose of Meeting: A public Regulatory Conference will be held to discuss an apparent violation involving potential vortexing and subsequent operation of the high pressure core spray pump. This issue is potentially greater than very low safety significant as documented in Inspection Report 05000461/2006011.
Category: This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
