On December 10, 2013, at 5:23 a.m. (CST), the licensee completed cooling down Unit 2 to cold shutdown. The licensee is currently working to secure the emergency diesel generator and power both safety-related buses with off-site power. Unit 1 is operating at 100 percent power. | |||

At 1:06 p.m. (CST), the NRC returned to Normal Mode following the response to events at Unit 2. | |||
The site resident inspectors will continue to monitor licensee actions to identify the cause of the explosion and fire in the Unit 2 auxiliary transformer, restore off-site power, and repair damaged equipment. | |||
The State of Arkansas was notified. | |||
