As of April 2 1st we have been able to respond to close to 2/3 rd of the RAI's scope of questions; the questions that we have completed are: 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 33, 37. We have collected information for the questions 1 to 12, 19 to 24, 30, 34 to 36, 38 to 40 and we are now in a process of writing the answers. We performed number of extensive simulations and modeling using various computational codes to assess the UUTR core performance parameters under normal operating conditions.

Requestfor 60 days extension to submit responsesto NRC RAIs regardingthe UUTR SAR I would like to ask for the extension of 60 days to complete the answers to the NRC RAls regarding the UUTR SAR documentation to our best capabilities and knowledge.

As of April 2 1st we have been able to respond to close to 2 / 3 rd of the RAI's scope of questions; the questions that we have completed are: 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 33, 37. We have collected information for the questions 1 to 12, 19 to 24, 30, 34 to 36, 38 to 40 and we are now in a process of writing the answers. We performed number of extensive simulations and modeling using various computational codes to assess the UUTR core performance parameters under normal operating conditions. We also analyzed the scenarios for the accidental analysis. We have partially completed the answers to the questions regarding the radiation monitoring and radiation doses. In order to complete the remaining simulations and assess the basis for reactor power uprate, I would like to ask for 60 days extension.

Sincerely, Tatjana Jevr ovic, Ph.D.
