Risk-Informed Process for Evaluation (RIPE)

This process can be used to evaluate the safety significance of an issue, and if it is determined to be of low safety significance, a LAR or exemption request can be submitted to the NRC and qualified streamlined NRC review.

Approved for plants with an approved TSTF-505.

NEI issued NEI 21-01. Scope includes TSTF-425.
