i IE Inspection Report 50-270/80-10 The two calibration blocks, 40303 and 40304, identified by item 50-270/80-10-01, were being used to monitor the size of certain identifications in the pressurizer head to shell' weld. | |||
The indications were originally discovered during baseline inspection and have been monitored since dis-covery using these blocks. Duke Power Company intends to continue to use blocks 40303 and 40304'for the purpose of monitoring the size of the indications in the pressurizer shell to head weld. | |||
Block 40303 will be modified to meet the requirements of Figure 1-3131 of ASME Section XI (74S75). A new block, meeting all requirements of ASME Section XI will be fabricated to replace 40304 for all-future inspections. | |||
This work will be completed by December 1, 1980. | |||
