In order to adequately prepare for this inspection, the NRC requested the following: 1) an index or summary of condition reports written in the past two years in which licensed operator errors were determined to be the root or contributing cause; 2) an index or summary of condition reports written in the past two years on simulator performance problems; 3) an index or summary of simulator performance test results in the past two years; and 4) the examination schedule, sample plan, written examinations and operating test scheduled for the weeks of the inspection. In a communication on May 10, 2007, between Mr. D. Silk, Senior Operations Engineer, and Mr. M. Kafantaris, Operations Training Manager, arrangements were made for the U. S.

The inspection is planned for the weeks of July 30, 2007, and August 27, 2007, which coincides with your regularly scheduled requalification examination cycle.
