The WPC Safety Significance Assessment feari (55AT) (Enclosure 2) has casoleted i a preliminary review of the ellegations and associated materf alt at #AP offices in Washington, D.C., and has complied, summarfred, and cateocrfred them! tiy disef p1fne or toples (see Endlesure 4).

It is importart.to note that the,55AT had difficulty during its review in assessing the safety signtficance of many of the allegations due to the laclof specificity and detail of the identifica-tinn nf a particular cos9enent or system prcvided by the allegers (referred to by GAP as concerned individuals - Cis).

Beesuse of the poneral lack of specificity of the allegations, it is imperative that the 55AT contact the allegers ard determine if they can identify locations or components that exhibit the conditions that they have a concern over at STP.,

This will eactittate the 5 SAT subsequent inspection to substantiate the concerns er deterutne that the concern has been satisfactorily corrected.

We feel that the subject metter.used :in some of the allegation descriptions atqht. reveal the identity of the 411eger.: Thus, the GAP allepatior descriptions prepared by 5 SAT must remain confidential until suchia time that the need for the confiden-tiality'of the allegers.is no longer required.. lists the 10 primaryjallegetions that the 55AT will investigate at STP.
