PROCEEDINGS CHAIRMAN SVINICKI: Thank you operator. Good afternoon, I am Kristine Svinicki, Chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Consistent with the NRCs entrance into Phase 1 of its re-occupancy plan, I am presiding over this public affirmation session from the Commissions hearing room in Rockville, MD, with a mixture of in person and remote participation, consistent with the CDC guidance on social distancing.
Joining me are the other currently serving members of the Commission. To establish the presence of all members of the Commission, may I have each Commissioner affirm their presence when I call their name:

ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: This is on SECY-20-0047, Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc., Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 3, Request for Hearing in Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria Proceeding.
The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order addressing the petition to intervene and request for a hearing submitted by Nuclear Watch South regarding the conformance of Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. with the acceptance criteria in the combined license for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 3.
The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order denying Nuclear Watch Souths request for a hearing and petition to intervene and terminating this proceeding.
