Enclosed is the final report for the Surry Power Station (SPS) Plume Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise held on August 4,2009. There were no Deficiencies, one new performance issue (resolved), and three new planning issues identified as a result of the exercise.
 
In addition, there were six prior performance issues successfully resolved through demonstration.
Enclosed is the final report for the Surry Power Station (SPS) Plume Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise held on August 4,2009.
Based on the results of the exercise, the offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the affected local jurisdictions, site-specific to SPS, are adequate to protect the public health and safety in the event of a radiological emergency at the site.
