This letter is in response to your letter dated April 8, 2010, requesting our review and endorsement of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 05-10, "Security Frequently Asked Questions Process," Revision 3, dated April 2010.
This letter is in response to your letter dated April 8, 2010, requesting our review and endorsement of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 05-10, Security Frequently Asked Questions Process, Revision 3, dated April 2010.
As you are aware, staff within the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response held numerous working-level meetings over the past 12 months with NEI and power reactor industry representatives to re-establish the process to facilitate Security Frequently Asked Questions.

Based on these interactions and your request, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed NEI 05-10, Revision 3, dated April 2010, and has attached comments on the document. Endorsement of the document is based on consideration of these comments.
