nd During the 592 meeting of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS or the Committee) on March 8-10,2012, ACRS completed its review of the extended power uprate application for Turkey Point Nuclear Plant (PTN), Units 3 and 4, and the associated safety evaluation report prepared by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff.
By letter dated March 20, 2012 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML12072A200), the Committee provided its final report on the extended power uprate for PTN, Units 3 and 4. The NRC staff agrees with your recommendation that the agency should approve the extended power uprate for PTN, Units 3 and 4.
