SUBJECT:

CALLAWAY PLANT, UNIT 1 - CORRECTION TO AMENDMENT NO. 180 RE:

REPLACING CONTAINMENT SUMP TRASH RACKS AND SCREENS WITH STRAINERS AND RELOCATE CONTAINMENT PH CONTROL SYSTEM FROM CURRENT LOCATION (TAC NO. MD2363)

Dear Mr. Naslund:

In our letter to you dated February 21, 2007, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 180 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-30 for the Callaway Plant, Unit 1.

The amendment consisted of changes to the Technical Specifications, in response to your application dated May 30, 2006 (ULNRC-05293), as supplemented by letters dated November 22 and December 19, 2006 (ULNRC-05347 and ULNRC-05353, respectively).

Inadvertently, in the amendment, the NRC staff also issued an out-of-date Page 5 of the license. Enclosed is a corrected Page 5 of the license with the correct reference to the revised Callaway Physical Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan that implemented NRC Order EA-06-037, which was issued on February 13, 2007.

Please replace Page 5 of the license with the enclosed page. We apologize for any problems caused by this mistake.

Sincerely,

/RA/
