DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 APPLICATION OF NON-QUALIFIED AGASTAT RELAYS SDAR: CP-86-40 (INTERIM REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On October 10, 1986, we notified you by our letter logged TXX-6017 of a deficiency involving the procurement and use of non-qualified Agastat relays in several Class 1E applications which we deemed reportable under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). This is an interim report submitted to status corrective action implemented to date. Our most recent interim report was logged TXX-6475, dated May 29, 1987.
In our report TXX-6475 we noted several corrective actions to be accomplished in accordance with Nonconformance Report (NCR) 85-0004, Revision 3.
NCR 85-0004, Revision 3, has been superseded by NCR PE-87-00606.
The corrective actions will be tracked under the new NCR number.
Implementation of the associated rework concerning both Units 1 and 2 is still in progress. Our original completion date of September 18, 1987 was not met due to scheduling Concerns.
We will submit our next report no later than November 20, 1987.
