DOCKETS NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 ARBITRARY INTERMEDIATE PIPE BREAKS Gentlemen:
By letter dated October 21, 1986, logged TXX-6057, we provided a response to the NRC request for additional information (NRC questions 210.9 and 210.10) dated September 11, 1986, concerning elimiration of arbitrary intermediate pipe breaks.
The response stated that if arbitrary intermediate breaks within five pipe diameters of welded attachments were to be eliminated, information with respect to the welded attachments and certain additional analyses would be provided.
The schedule for the submittal of this information was early 1987 for Unit 1 and mid 1987 for Unit 2.
The above analyses have not yet been completed. Submittal of the requested information has been rescheduled to July 15, 1987 for Unit 1, and December 31, 4
1987 for Unit 2.
