Dear Mr. Johnson:

On August 27, 1985, we verbally notified your Mr. D. Hunnicutt of a defi-ciency regarding the possible impact on the electrical raceway support system of additional weight imposed by the installation of separation berrier and radiant energy shield material. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). We have submitted interim reports TXX-4564 and TXX-4599, dated September 19, 1985, and October 16, 1985, respectively. The evaluation and disposition of this issue will be formulated in the course of the conduit and cable tray support design adequacy programs (CPRT Program Plan Item VIII). The analy-sis required to resolve this issue is scheduled for completion by June 15, 1986.

We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate completion of our final report by July 7, 1986.

Very truly yours, td. C,. N W. G. Counsil h
