Nuclear Regulatory Commission, "Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1, Technical Specification Change Request 352, Revise Technical Specification 3.14.2 and the Licensing Basis Flood Hazard contained in the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report," dated April 10, 2013 By letter to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) dated April 10, 2013, Exelon Generation Company, LLC, (Exelon) submitted an amendment request to revise the Technical Specifications (TS) for Three Mile Island (TMI), Unit 1 (Reference 1). During a teleconference on June 10, 2013, the NRC provided results of the NRC's acceptance review of the Reference 1 amendment request. The NRC concluded that the Reference 1 amendment request cannot be reviewed until open issues are resolved with the ongoing TMI, Unit 1 Fukushima Near-Term Task Force Flooding Hazard submittals and associated design analyses. As a result, Exelon is withdrawing this amendment request.
