At approximately 1930 EDT on May 19, 2020, … At approximately 1930 EDT on May 19, 2020, the Dow Chemical Company TRIGA Reactor received notification of an upstream dam break in Sanford, Michigan and the potential to flood the facility. A Notification of Unusual Event was subsequently declared at 1930 EDT.</br>The reactor was in a shutdown condition at the time of the event and has been due to COVID-19.</br>The licensee is monitoring the flood situation in the area and licensee personnel have responded to the site.
