At 1410 CDT, Grand Gulf declared an Unusua … At 1410 CDT, Grand Gulf declared an Unusual Event for EAL H.U.5, release of toxic and flammable gases adverse to normal operation of the plant. CO2 was discharged in the electrical switchgear room in the auxiliary building. No injuries or fatalities were found after an initial search of the area.
