Regulatory Commitment Change Summary Report Enclosed is the Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) "Regulatory Commitment Change Summary Report" for Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station (QCNPS). The attached report provides a summary of changes processed during the period June 1, 2009, through May 31, 2010. Revisions to commitments were processed in accordance with Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 99-04, "Guidelines for Managing NRC Commitment Changes."

Change Approved On: 8/17/2009 Original Commitment Description As part of the License Renewal Aging Management program, Quad Cities committed to the BWR Water Chemistry Guidelines: 2000 Revision, EPRI TR-1 03515-R2, Final Report, dated February 2000, and BWRVIP-130: BWR Vessel and Internals Project BWR Water Chemistry Guidelines - 2004 Revision.
Revised Commitment Description Commitments to EPRI reference documents were made in the application for the renewed Operating License per 10 CFR 54. The change involves adoption of the current industry standard: BWRVIP-190: BWR Vessel and Internals Project, BWR Water Chemistry Guidelines - 2008 Revision.
Justification For Revision The BWRVIP guidelines represent the latest industry experience, knowledge, and strategy in the management of reactor water, ancillary and support systems chemistry.

Change Approved On: 9/2/2009 Oriainal Commitment Descrip~tion Station procedure QCTP 0500-10 tracks the design cycles (transients) to ensure that components are maintained within design limits. The fatigue monitoring program is comprised of ER-AA-470, "Fatigue and-Transient Monitoring Program," along with QCTP 0500-10, "Reactor Vessel Designed Cycles," and the "FatiguePro" software. QCTP 0500-10 was credited for license renewal.
Revised Commitment Description ER-AA-470 tracks the design cycles and transient occurrences to ensure that components are maintained within the design limits.
The fatigue monitoring program is comprised of ER-AA-470, "Fatigue and Transient Monitoring Program," along with the installation of the FatiguePro software. (Procedure ER-AA-470 is implemented under station action tracking no. 101562.48.02.)
Justification For Revision The manual tracking of design cycles under QCTP 0500-10 will be fulfilled using ER-AA-470 and the use of EPRI-licensed FatiguePro software which has been implemented at Quad Cities.
