Summary of February 18, 2011, Public Teleconference with NextEra to Discuss Erosion Testing to be Performed in Support of Debris Interceptor Analysis (ML110750197), March 20, 2011.
On February 18, 2011, NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC (NextEra) and its contractor, Alion Science & Technology (Alion), held a teleconference with members of the NRC staff to discuss planned erosion testing in support of resolution of GSI-191 issues at Seabrook Station.
A summary of the teleconference is provided in the above reference. During the teleconference, NextEra proposed a second teleconference, subsequent to completion of the testing, to discuss the results.
The erosion testing has been completed and NextEra requests a teleconference with NRC staff to discuss the results. Due to the proprietary nature of the material to be presented, NextEra respectfully requests that the meeting be closed to the public. The attachment to this letter is a powerpoint presentation of a summary of the erosion testing results and an accompanying affidavit from Alion requesting withholding from public disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.390(a)(4).
