FPL Letter L-2007-013, Inspection and Mitigation of Alloy 82/182 Pressurizer Butt Welds, January 31, 2007 In the referenced letter, FPL Energy Seabrook, LLC (FPL Energy Seabrook) committed to evaluating improvements to its reactor coolant system (RCS) leakage monitoring program and to provide an update to the NRC regarding any changes to the current program.

This letter provides notification that FPL Energy Seabrook is planning to enhance the RCS leakage monitoring software to perform RCS temperature averaging to reduce the effect of process noise on the RCS leak rate calculation. This enhancement is planned to be complete in the 2 d Quarter 2007.
