By letter dated August 7, 2006, (Reference 1) FPL Energy Seabrook, LLC (FPL Energy Seabrook) submitted License Amendment Request (LAR) 06-03, "Application for Amendment to the Technical Specifications for Miscellaneous Changes." In Reference 2, the NRC requested additional information in order to complete its evaluation of the LAR. Further, Reference 2 required that within 45 days FPL Energy Seabrook either provide the requested information or provide an alternate response date that is no later than 60 days from the date of the letter.

FPL Energy Seabrook intends to provide the information requested in Reference 2 by January 19, 2007. Extending the response to this alternate date is necessary to allow sufficient time to develop the response and obtain the necessary internal reviews prior to submitting the information to the NRC.
