I Gulf States Utilities (GSU) Company hereby files an amendment to the River Bend Station Unit 1 Facility Operating License NPF-47, pursuant to i 10CFR50.90. This application is filed to revise License Condition 2.C(1) Attachment 1, Item 4.b concerning radio communication in the plant areas per 10CFR 73.55(f)1. Specifically, the proposed change extends the implementation date beyond " prior to start-up following the first refueling outage". Attachment 1 includes the proposed revision and justification to the River Bend Station Operating License. '

Pursuant to 10CFR170.12, CSU has enclosed a check in the amount of one-hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) for the license amendment application fee. Your prompt attention to this application is appreciated.
