Letter from Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., "Confirmatory Order Related to NRC Report No.
05000255/2015013; and Investigation Report 3-2012-021; Palisades Nuclear Plant," dated May 16, 2016.
Dear Mr. Louden:
In accordance with the subject Confirmatory Order, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) shared the lessons learned from the event in presentations to reactor licensees identified in the order. Specifically, ENO presented the lessons learned at a Regional Utility Group meeting in each of the NRC Regions that ENO operates, the 2017 Nuclear Energy Institute Licensing Forum and to ENO personnel via a fleet-wide news article.
Pursuant to Section V, item 2d, of the Confirmatory Order, this letter provides affirmation that the presentations described in items 2a and 2b of the order were conducted.
This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
