Palisades Nuclear Plant Readiness for 95002 Supplemental Inspection Palisades Nuclear Plant Docket 50-255 License No. DPR-20 Letter from Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., Final Significance Determination of Yellow and White Findings with Assessment Followup and Notice of Violation NRC Inspection Report Nos. 05000255/2011019 and 05000255/2011020 Palisades Nuclear Plant, dated February 14, 2012 (ADAMS Accession Number ML120450037).
On February 14, 2012, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued two greater than green findings to Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) for violations that involved the loss of the left train of direct current power on September 25, 2011, and the failure of the safety-related service water pump, P-7C, on August 9, 2011, at the Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP).
The NRC requested that ENO provide notification when PNP is prepared to undergo a supplemental inspection using Inspection Procedure 95002. This letter provides notification that ENO is prepared for the inspection.
This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
