The licence huw cumpleted the ultrasonic inservice inspection of core cprsy system piping located in the drywell. No cracking or similar adverse conditions werc identified other than the piping cracks identified in the original PN.

The licensee currently intends to replace the defective piping elbowv with replace-ment elbows fabricated of a different material.

The Resident Inspectors and Support InupecLurs from Region III havn reviewed the liccusce's in:;pection program and will continue to f ollow this matter through the comp'.etion of eiping repaire.

Neither the liconsaa nor Region ill (Chicago) are planning u uews release. The StafA of Illinois had been notified when PNo-TII-80-164 was issued and will be inforacd of aigni fican t davalopmentx.
