A4oD Document Control Desk PLA-6120 The purpose of this letter is to supplement the Reference 1 request for an amendment to the licensing basis for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES) Units 1 and 2 that supports a full implementation application of an Alternative Source Term (AST) methodology.
Reference 1 contained revision 1 of PPL calculation EC-059-1041, "Suppression Pool PH Post LOCA." Since revision 1 was issued for NRC review, it has been revised to address the final design for the Standby Leakage Control System at Extended Power Uprate conditions. The final design is also reflected in the proposed amendment request contained in Reference 5.
Revision of the calculation has no impact on any other calculations submitted in reference 1 and the calculation revision shows the suppression pool PH acceptance criteria is met. NRC has the current versions of all the other calculations. to this letter contains the revised calculation.
