NRC Investigation - Diablo Canyon Units 1 and 2 This refers to an investigation conducted by MC Region V on December 30, 1981, through January 28, 1982, of activities associated with the preparation and submittal to PG&E for review and comment of drafts of the Preliminary Report Seismic Reverification Prmgram for Diablo Canyon by R. L. Cloud Associates. Inc., prior to the submittal of this riport to the RC by letter dated November 18, 1981.
Areas examined during this investigation are described in the enclosed investigation report which is being submitted as NUREG-0826. Issue 3.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed investigation report will be placed in the RC's Public Document Room. We have determined that the investigation report does not contain any information that we believe to be exempt from disclosure under 10 CFR 9.5(a)4. This matter has been discussed with Mr. Philip A. Crane, Jr., of Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Mrs. Helen Cloud of R. L. Cloud Associates.
