Supplement to Proposed Technical Specification Change -

Isolation Actuation Instrumentation (3/4.3.2)

In Reference 2, Detroit Edison Company proposed to remove the Non-regenerative Heat Exchanger (NRHX) Outlet Temperature - Eigh signal from the listing of Reactor Water Cleanup (RWCU) :ystem isolation signals. Appropriate changes to Technical Specification Tablea 3.3.2-1, 3.3.2-2, 3.3.2-3 were proposed. However, the NRHX Outlet Temperature - High signal also appears in Table 4.3.2.1-1 Isolation Actuation Instrumentation Surveillance Requirements, and in notes (a) and (c) of Table 3.6.3-1, Primary Containment Isolation Valves. Appropriate chanses to these tables were inadvertently omitt?d from Reference 2.

Detroit Edison therefore proposes to remove the NRHX Outlet Temperature - High signal from Tables 4.3.2.1-1 and 3.6.3-1. The justification and significant hazards consideration analysis provided in Reference 2 also applies to this proposal. The proposed page changes are attached.
