Request for comment on Draft Environmental Assessment
Dear Ms. Forbes,
Attached please find a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) prepared by the NRC staff for Waste Control Specialists (WCS) proposal to move waste from Los Alamos National Laboratory from one location on the WCS site in Andrews County, Texas to another location on the WCS site.
The draft EA is prepared in the form of a Federal Register notice that the NRC staff plans to issue after addressing any comments that the Radioactive Waste Division in the TCEQ has on the draft EA. Please provide any comments to my attention at your earliest convenience but no later than April 19, 2023.
