[External_Sender] WCS request for a pre-application meeting
- Harry, WCS is currently planning on submitting our request in late June to remove the LANL TRU waste from storage in the FWF and transfer the waste to our TSDF. I am requesting a pre-application meeting with the NRC to discuss WCS' submittal package to ensure that what the NRC receives from WCS is what is needed to properly process WCS' request.
If possible, could we set up a meeting next week or the week after depending on everyones availability to talk through the submittal package and WCS' current approach? Once I have days and times that work for your side I will work with my side to make one of the availabilities work.
I do not know if they will attend but as a note, I will also be inviting TCEQ to listen in on our conversation so that everyone is on the same page.
