STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) hereby withdraws the referenced proposed amendment to South Texas Project Unit 1 and Unit 2 Operating Licenses NPF-76 and NPF-80. The proposed amendment would have revised the Technical Specifications to incorporate updated criticality analyses for storage of spent fuel in the Spent Fuel Pool and In-Containment, Storage Areas based on a new Westinghouse three-dimensional methodology.

There are no commitments in this letter.
