During review of references 1 and 2, the NRC determined that a commitment to provide information on the results of the ultrasonic examinations of the South Texas Project pressurizer weld overlays is required for approval of Relief Request RR-ENG-2-43.

In accordance with this request, STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) will provide the details of the ultrasonic examination results to the NRC within 14 days following completion of the respective final ultrasonic examinations of the Unit 1 and Unit 2 pressurizer spray, relief, safety, and surge nozzle safe-ends structural weld overlays. STPNOC will notify the NRC Project Manager for the South Texas Project when the examination of the final structural weld overlay for each unit is complete.

The attachment to this letter lists the commitments.
