Page 1 of 7 RSI-1: Submit the onsite and offsite characterization and remedial action support survey laboratory data used to determine the statistical data in Table 3-1 for Survey Units 4100, 4101, 9012, and 9014. Submit final status survey onsite and offsite laboratory sample data, along with ISOCS measurement results, for the same survey units to support the data quality assessment (DQA) review.
Rationale: Chapter 9 of MARSSIM recommends that the License Termination Plan (LTP) includes the DQA methods used to evaluate whether the collected data meets the survey objectives and are sufficient to demonstrate compliance. Section 5.5, Final Status Survey Data Assessment, outlines the key components of the DQA process. Laboratory and field measurement data for radionuclides are essential for a comprehensive evaluation of both the quality and quantity of data and are integral to the overall DQA.

Rationale: Guidance provided in MARSSIM, Section 5.5, recommends an integrated survey strategy for Class 3 survey units, including random measurements and scanning surveys. These surveys are used to identify locations within the survey unit that exceed an investigation level, so that these areas can undergo additional investigation to determine concentration, area, and extent of contamination. Table 5-33 of the LTP specified investigation levels by survey unit classification. Scanning results serve as a comparison point to the investigation levels and subsequent actions.
OPPD Response:
The tables presented below detail the scan data collected for the FSSs of survey units 4501 and 9014.
