Dear Dr. Ryan Vierling:
By letter dated February 10, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession Number ML25148A393), and as supplemented on September 10, 2025 (ML25267A161) you submitted an application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for the review of the Japanese Certificate of Competent Authority No. J/2007/AF, Model No. NT-XII. In your application, you requested that the NRC provides a recommendation to revalidate the Model No. NT-XII package.
In connection with our review, we need the information identified in the enclosure to this letter.
To assist us in scheduling the NRC staffs review of your response, we request that you provide this information within 25 calendar days from the date of this letter. Inform us at your earliest convenience, but no later than 15 calendar days from the date of this letter if you are not able to provide the information by that time frame. If you are unable to provide a response by the time frame provided in this letter, our review may be delayed.
Please reference Docket No. 71-3104 and CAC/EPID Nos. 001942/L-2025-DOT-0001 in future correspondence related to this request. The NRC staff is available to clarify these questions and, if necessary, to meet and discuss your proposed responses. transmitted herewith contains proprietary information.
