Request for Priority Review for USA Validation of Japanese NT-XII Package
Dear Dr.Vierling,
Edlow International Company respectfully requests prioritization of the NRC review process and subsequent issuance of the DOT revalidation certificate for the Japanese NT-XII package. Our objective is to obtain revalidation no later than December 31, 2025, to support critical project timelines. Please find below our clients proposed schedule and supporting information for your review:
- 1. Aug 2025: Receipt of RAIs from NRC
- 2. By the end of Sep: Complete all Q&As regarding RAI from NRC
- 3. By the end of Oct: NRC submits Safety Evaluation Report to DOT
- 4. By the end of Dec: Revalidation issued by DOT We understand that the NT-XII revalidation request is a new application and that RAIs, particularly those related to criticality, may require time to address. Close adherence to the above timeline would be greatly appreciated to avoid delays that could impact fuel delivery obligations to Japanese utilities. If any RAIs have already been issued or are forthcoming, we would be grateful to review them at the earliest opportunity We thank you in advance for your assistance and consideration.
