PUBLIC MEETING
SUMMARY
- 2024 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING REGARDING SHEARON HARRIS NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NO. 05000400, MEETING NUMBER 20250443 On April 23, 2025, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a meeting concerning Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant. The purpose of the meeting was to provide opportunities for the public to discuss the annual assessment for the period of January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.
The public meeting was held at the New Hill Community Center in New Hill, North Carolina. The following documents related to the meeting are available in ADAMS: Meeting Notice (ML25097A199), Annual Assessment Letter (ML25066A163).
The meeting was conducted from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. NRC representatives discussed their assessment of Shearon Harris plant performance, as documented in the annual assessment letter, and discussed topics of public interest during the question and answer session. There was minimal interaction with the public and no official list of attendees was recorded.
The meeting was listed in the Public Meeting Feedback System under Meeting Code 20250443 and as of the date of this memo, there were no feedback responses submitted.
