ACCEPTANCE FOR REVIEW REGARDING TRAVELER TSTF-585, REVISION 4, REVISE LCO 3.0.3 TO REQUIRE MANAGING RISK (EPID: L-2023-PMP-0000)
Dear Members of the Technical Specifications Task Force:
By letter dated March 7, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML25066A098), you submitted a request to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to incorporate Revision 4 of Traveler TSTF-585, "Revise LCO [Limiting Condition for Operation] 3.0.3 to Require Managing Risk, the standard technical specifications.
Section 170.21 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations requires that Travelers are subject to fees based on the full cost of the review. You did not request a fee waiver; therefore, NRC staff hours will continue to be billed accordingly. The NRC staff estimates that the review will require approximately 1015 staff hours including hours already charged reviewing previous revisions.
The NRC staff has completed a preliminary review of your submission and determined it is sufficiently complete and appropriate to initiate a more comprehensive review. The review will generally follow the schedule below.
