X ENERGY, LLC. - REPORT ON THE REGULATORY AUDIT OF TOPICAL REPORT, XE-100 TRAINING PROGRAMS METHODOLOGY (EPID L-2024-TOP-0008)
Dear Mr. Vaughn:
By letter dated March 27, 2024, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML24089A244), X Energy, LLC., (X-energy) submitted topical report (TR) Xe-100 Training Programs Methodology, Revision 3, for review and approval by the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. The TR provides the methodology for establishing, implementing, and maintaining Xe-100 training programs in support of future licensing applications regarding the Xe-100 technology.
Enclosed is a report of the regulatory audit conducted by the NRC staff in connection with its review of the TR. The audit report does not make any licensing conclusions or findings, but it is part of the administrative record of the NRC staffs review of the TR and may provide information supporting the NRC staffs safety evaluation. The audit followed the plan dated August 14, 2024, (ML24212A030) unless otherwise noted in the enclosed report. The report constitutes the final report on the audit.
