H.B. ROBINSON STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT, UNIT 2 - RECEIPT AND AVAILABILITY OF THE SUBSEQUENT LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION
Dear Laura Basta:
By letter dated April 1, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML25091A291), Duke Energy Progress, LLC submitted an application for subsequent license renewal (SLR) of Facility Operating License No. DPR-23 for H.B.
Robinson Steam Electric Plant (Robinson), Unit 2, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). We are currently performing an acceptance review for docketing in accordance with the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.101(a)(2)
(10 CFR 2.101(a)(2)) and will notify you of the results of our review. Should the NRC staff determine that the application is acceptable for docketing, the NRC staff will issue a schedule for the review, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.102(a).
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Siwy as the project manager for the safety review, and Karen Loomis as the project manager for the environmental review of your license renewal application. Please forward copies of all license renewal correspondence to Andrew Siwy and Karen Loomis. Natreon Jordan is responsible for the project management of all issues other than SLR for Robinson, Unit 2.
