TOPICAL REPORT ANP-10358P, REVISION 0, INCREASED BURNUP FOR PWRS (EPID L-2044-TOP-0033)

By application dated November 26, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML24331A085), Framatome Inc., submitted topical report (TR)
ANP-10358P Revision 0 Increased Burnup for PWRs [Pressurized Water Reactors], for U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review and approval.
The NRC staff has performed an initial review of the submitted TR and determined that a regulatory audit would facilitate the timely completion of our review. The NRC staff plans to conduct an in-person audit on March 25-27, 2025, at Framatomes Headquarters located in Lynchburg Virginia. The areas of focus for the regulatory audit are the information contained in the submitted TR and relevant supporting documentation (e.g., methodology, process information, calculations). The audit will be performed consistent with NRC Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation Office Instruction LIC-111, Revision 1, Regulatory Audits, dated October 31, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19226A274).
Enclosed for your information is the proprietary audit plan that the NRC staff will follow.
Additionally, the NRC staff plans to issue a report within 90 days after completion of the audit.
NOTICE: Enclosure 1 to this letter contains Proprietary Information. When this letter is separated from Enclosure 1, this letter is decontrolled.
